Crimson Harvest Login Rewards, Event SKIN Track, And Twitch Drops

Today is the beginning of the Crimson Harvest seasonal event in EVE Online. I only had a little time to look inside the client before work, but I did check out the basic rewards associated with the event. I saw one minor change plus the addition of Twitch drops. So here is some information about the basics I observed.

The rewards for Alphas and Omegas

The big change in the daily login rewards is that players will receive rewards every day they log in, even if they log in all 33 days of the event. The big number to keep track of is 25, because after day 25 logging in only nets players boosters that are bind-on-redeem. Alpha (free-to-play) players logging in for 25 days receive Deathglow Remnant SKINs for the following ships:

  • Imicus
  • Heron
  • Probe
  • Magnate
  • Tornado
  • Stratios

They also receive a fireworks crate, a t-shirt for their character, and 125,000 skill points, with 75,000 coming on day 25.

Omega (subscribed) players receive everything an Alpha player receives plus the following Deathglow Remnant SKINs for the following ships:

  • Helios
  • Buzzard
  • Cheetah
  • Anathema
  • Thunderchild

They also receive 11,000 Evermarks and an additional 425,000 skill points, with 250,000 skill points coming on day 25. That gives Omega players who login 25 days a total of 650,000 skill points.

The standard 900 point event track

Those are just the login rewards. Players also receive a Deathglow Remnant SKIN for every 50 Crimson Harvest event points they ears. The ships and the point value earned are in the list below:

  • 50 - Maelstrom
  • 100 - Vulture
  • 150 - Harbinger
  • 200 - Talos
  • 250 - Valravn
  • 300 - Karura
  • 350 - Bane
  • 400 - Hubris
  • 450 - Garmur
  • 500 - Sin
  • 550 - Apocalypse
  • 600 - Moros
  • 650 - Dominix
  • 700 - Naglfar
  • 750 - Vedmak
  • 800 - Paladin
  • 850 - Ferox
  • 900 - Revelation

I took a look at the information window for the Maelstrom and, alas, they are bind on redeem.

I'm hoping the even has SKINs that drop. I didn't have time to check that out before scheduling this article. Something about having to do something to pay my internet bill and game subscriptions.

For the first time players can receive Twitch drops. When I looked on Twitch, the drop description read, "Crimson Harvest Event Week 1." Honestly, I think CCP is going to do one of the 4 major empires each week, with week 1 dedicated to the Minmatar.

To get EVE time, add 5 hours

To earn the drops, just search for "EVE Online" in the search bar and look for streams that feature drops in the description.

Of course, what is an event without sales in the stores?
In addition to all the free goodies on offer during the Crimson Harvest event, you can also expect to see some frighteningly good deals in the New Eden Store and the EVE Store. To kick things off, the EVE Store is offering a 50% discount on Omega + MCT bundles for a limited time, and as the event continues, more devilish discounts will drop, so keep your eyeballs thoroughly peeled.
Sorry, but I'm just going to do a copy/paste and not enter the cash shop. I need to go make some real life money now, not spend it.
